The Virginia Avenue Dog Park is the largest dog park in DC that falls within the official DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) dog parks. These dog parks may have been built by. DPR at first, but ultimately it’s maintained by local community groups like the residents who make up the Virginia Avenue Dog Park group.
They turned on the water to the park, so that means volunteers went out to clean and sanitize the park to make it better for all of us to use.
