There are many parks to bring your dog in Washington, D.C., but only a handful are designated dog parks that are managed by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation.
DPR manages and maintains dog parks throughout the District. These areas are fenced in with enough space for friendly dogs to run free without leashes. Regulations state not to bring your pet to a DPR dog park if it interacts with other dogs in an aggressive manner.
